But attempting to read logic into this turkey is foolhardy at best. Thats because there is no logic, just a lot of poorly executed, scattershot scenes that are nowhere close to interesting or new. Dare I say it makes the Scary Movie franchise look brilliant by comparison? Its certainly not up to the standards of a performer the caliber of Weymouths Rob Corddry, who must have owed someone a favor in order to undercut his esteem so grievously. Another movie, based on Walter Isaacsonspopular biography Steve Jobs which included the cooperation of Jobs, his family and the company is in development with screenwriter Aaron Sorkin attached to write, but no projected release date for that film has yet been given. Judging by the reviews for Jobs, there still may be plenty of room for another film treatment. As of Friday morning, Jobs is carrying a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 26% meaning about three quarters of the reviewers tabulated have given the flick a Thumbs Down. The RT rating among so-called top critics was even lower at 20%. The movie also didnt fare well with the affable Steve Wozniak, who was portrayed in the film by Josh Gad of The Book of Mormon fame. In a blog posting on Gizmodo , Wozniak called the acting good and said he was attentive and entertained but not greatly enough to recommend the movie. And he denied the claim that hes criticizing this movie because he is serving as a paid consultant on the Steve Jobs project.

Movie Review: Forest Whitaker a Witness to History in ‘The Butler’
In case you forgot after all, its been 15 years since she last appeared in a live-action film as someone other than herself Oprah can, indeed, act. Lets also not forget that she was nominated for an Oscar in 1986 for her work in The Color Purple, and it certainly doesnt hurt this film that that the majority of her scenes are with fellow Oscar-nominee Terrence Howard and Oscar-winner Whitaker. While we see the civil rights movement through the lens of the White House, the brutality and humanity of it all is brought to life through Cecils son, Louis, played by David Oyelowo, who is always a treat to watch. Louis becomes a Freedom Rider and then a Black Panther. His choices do not sit well with Cecil, who has worked hard to give his son a decent life and the ability to go to college. Hes dumbfounded when Louis decides to attend a university down South, at the time a hotbed of racist activity. Daniels renders moments of the civil rights movement in ways we havent seen before.

Between the squealing giddiness demonstrated at the mere thought of a submersive Austen-world and the way almost every moment is overplayed, the film wears out its welcome faster than a poor cousin in the country guesthouse. Keri Russell is Jane (get it?), a plain-Jane (yes, we get it ...) who blows her life savings on a trip to a Disney-like mini-theme park populated by the types of characters in Pride & Prejudice, Emma and Sense & Sensibility. Janes luck with gauche modern guys is nil. She pines for a real-life Darcy, obsessed as she is with Colin Firths 1995 turn in the BBC production of P&P. So shes primed for what Austenlands proprietor (starchily one-note Jane Seymour) promises will wind up in romance no touching allowed, of course. Keri Russell and JJ Feild in Austenland Janes fellow emotional tourist is a crass American ( Jennifer Coolidge ) whos there because she thinks her cleavage will look great in the tight gowns. Coolidge, a trouper, practically bursts a hamstring trying to save every scene shes in. On the weedy grounds of Austenlands English estate, where fake deer are Kim Kardashian sunglasses set up in the background and faux pheasants are shot, Jane (pseudonym: Ms. Erstwhile) is given a choice between surly Mr.

Now there are other TV possibilities for us, other than just the same old cable companies, including such as Netflix and Google, we think if the prices are raised, it is likely to run the customer off, not bind them to the cable company.
