Or will it be the 10-loss team of 2011, as disappointing a non-automatically qualifying group in the country? Kevin Liles, USA TODAY Sports 78: Virginia --UVa has plus-talent at quarterback, running back, receiver and all throughout the defense, with the only issue for 2013 being that nearly every meaningful contributor stands a season away from a breakthrough. Kevin Liles, USA TODAY Sports Fullscreen 77: Minnesota --Think about this: Every year, Minnesota's quest for bowl eligibility goes through the Wolverines, Cornhuskers, Spartans, Wildcats and Hawkeyes and sometimes, that quintet will be joined by Leaders Division teams like Wisconsin and Penn State. That'll happen sometimes. Like in 2013, for example. Jesse Johnson, USA TODAY Sports 76: Nevada -- Junior Cody Fajardo is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in college football. Mark J. Rebilas, USA TODAY Sports Fullscreen 75: Western Kentucky --There's a blindingly bright future at WKU, even if it's hard to predict just how long Petrino remains with the program before a win-hungry power comes calling. To get to the next level, however, Petrino needs to develop personnel on offense to fit his foolproof system. Nathan Morgan/Daily News, AP Fullscreen 74: Buffalo -- Coach Jeff Quinn has done a great job developing talent, as Buffalo won three of its last four games. The arrow is pointing up for this squad, which could reach a bowl game this year.

Texas Rangers blanked for 2nd straight game in 6-0 loss to Indians
Today was a different animal. It looked like we were sleepwalking out there. Indians right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez and reliever Vinnie Pestano combined on a two-hitter Sunday, completing Clevelands three-game sweep of Texas with a 6-0 victory. The Rangers were shut out over the final 21 innings of the series marking their longest drought since going 25 innings without a run from Sept. 15-19, 2009 and have lost four games in a row. Following the final pitch, Washington kept the clubhouse closed for 44 minutes as he held a team meeting. Texas is 2-8 since the All-Star break, making it 8-15 since July 1 when it last led the AL West.

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel attends frat parties at UT
pic.twitter.com/QQ2i92eNsJ Curry Shoff (@CurryShoff) July more information 27, 2013 And I can't imagine Aggies fans are too psyched about their team's star quarterback hanging out on the campus at their rival school. And vice versa -- check out this video (warning: there's profanity) of Manziel being escorted out of one of the parties while being cursed at and having a beer can thrown at him. Undeterred by the previous night's events, Manziel apparently attended another frat party at UT, this time wearing the jersey of former New York Jets quartetback Tim Tebow , now with the New England Patriots . @UTexas17 just saw Johnny Manziel at Fiji frat party. Guess he still wants to be a longhorn m/ #hookem pic.twitter.com/u2yLjzC2Zx Sydney Davis (@sdavy23) July 27, 2013 It's possible it was some sort of theme party, like wear the jersey of a player that didn't live up to the hype with his former team (when was the last time you saw someone wearing a Limas Sweed Pittsburgh Steelers jersey?). But still it's an interesting choice for Manziel, who declared, " I would hope I'm a better passer than Tim Tebow " on ESPN 's "First Take" last http://vitowzcl.wordpress.com/2013/07/21/boy-9-hit-by-car-while-getting-ice-cream-in-hollywood-neighborhood/ month.
